WOW!!! is all I can say.
I hope I am being a bit premature, but let's see how this plays out.
I checked my email again today, and still no "approval" from Health-Bloggers / PayPerPost so I can get started "Blogging for Dollars" :-)
I went to the Customer Service (Customer Love) section of the website and entered a ticket to inquire about the status of my submittal.
I received an autoresponse (which is a good thing! their systems are working well), but the response said I am 240th in the ticket queue! WOW!!!
Either there are a WHOLE LOT of people just like me signing up and hoping to get their blogs approved, OR they are WAY BEHIND in responding to their tickets!

In my "J-O-B" I am an I.T. Recruiter and I place Helpdesk Technicians for my Clients. I can tell you from first hand experience that 240 tickets in queue is NOT a good thing!

Please keep a watch with me as I track this closely. I am hoping for a quick response so I can get this Blog up and running with the tutorials and the steps to success I develop along the way.

Still Waiting...

November 15 is rapidly coming to a close here on the East Coast, and still no word from Health-Bloggers / PayPerPost if my TEKrecruiter Blog has been approved for the program. :-(
Hopefully by tomorrow I will get the word so I can begin writing some articles and testing out how it works.

I did do something a little extra today. I bought www.LearnPayPerPost.com and I redirected the URL to this Blog. My thoughts are that once I enter the program and start documenting the steps to success on this Blog, it will be easier to direct people to a 'catchy' Domain name, than to the Blogger URL.

This may even become one of the steps to successfully writing for Blogs and getting paid to do it. I am pretty certain that the concept is to drive traffic to your Blog(s) so the articles written get more views, and thereby have more value for the Clients requesting the write-ups and reviews.

So, Day 1 or Step 1 remains to sign up and submit your Blog for approval.
Day 2 is now.................. Wait

Almost 1 year ago I was contacted by "Health-Bloggers". They found my HealthyPursuit Blog and sent me this email:

When I checked out the site back in January of 2007, I decided not to join the Community. I am sure it was in the very early stages, but I do not recall being impressed with the site at that time.

Fortunately, though, I have a habit of saving emails that may have potential for a business venture, and tonight I came across that old email in one of my folders!
When I clicked on the link tonight was I ever surprised!
Health Bloggers has evolved into PayPerPost and is an amazing opportunity for those of us who love to Blog.

I immediately signed up and am waiting for 1 or 2 of my Blogs to be approved by their Customer Service (they call it Customer Love :-). Everything appears to be legit, and I am looking forward to getting started "Blogging for Dollars!"

I will use this blog to document the experience and hopefully encourage others to join the Community. For now I have completed Steps 1 and 2. Step 1 is to sign up, or join the Community by providing a username and email address. They send you a confirmation email and you are ready to list your Blog (Step 2) and wait for approval. I also went to Step 3 and installed the first PayPerPost Tool on my Recruiting Blog (http://www.TEKrecruiter.com), but this will be of no value unless the Blog gets approved for PayPerPost Articles.
